Taking the opportunity to cook with Simona, whilst you are visiting Umbria will connect you instantly with the surrounding countryside. You will be able to choose a seasonal menu lesson, taking you through an ideal lunch, or select a lesson concentrating on the unique dishes of Umbria. Whatever the season, the ingredients will always be local and fresh; whether from Simona’s own vegetable garden, or locally sourced, one thing for certain is that the eggs will always be from her own chickens.
Working with local traditions, Simona has interpreted many dishes inspired by the women of the village, and balanced them with modern pairings. When you’re cooking instruction is done, you will relax - weather permitting - under her portico, enjoying amazing views whilst tasting the fruits of your labour. As a qualified sommelier, Simona’s wine is also always carefully selected!
From 2 to 13 people in the Sagraincasa farm house, the experience includes a 3 hour class, with a lunch or dinner at the end. You will taste all the food we have prepared during the class, and take away a recipe file and an apron!
